Born from requests, the Cafe La Strada Brasserie ‘popped up’ during the Frome festival of 2013. It was hugely successful with repeat customers even though it was only open for 6 evenings.
The concept is to offer brasserie style food prepared with a plethora of experience from our evening chef, Richard. He has worked along side some of the best chefs of this generation and his food is testament to that, embracing old school favourites with a contemporary twist. He creates a three, three, three menu ( with maybe a few extras here and there ) for the Friday & Saturday nights that the Brasserie is open.
Wow, ‘The Brasserie’ has really taken off! The menus are changing every week and Richard & Steve are using innovative ideas, fresh & local ingredients that are causing a real stir. We are open every Friday & Saturday evening, taking bookings until 9pm.
After a sell out Valentine evening The Brasserie is going from strength to strength. To quote a recent visitor on Trip advisor

SAD NEWS THAT ‘THE BRASSERIE’ WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FROM THIS WEEKEND. DUE TO FAMILY COMMITMENTS WE HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE A SABBATICAL.
